Surah Al-Fatiha is the first Surah of the Quran, and it is the easiest one of all. It would help if you recited this to your kids daily after they are born because it is beneficial for them. As they grow, their mind starts to pick up words, and they learn it quickly.

It would be best if you also taught them about the benefits of each Surah and even its translation as a bedtime story because they'd enjoy hearing it in story form rather than daily lessons. Try to make the Quran memorization easier for your kids. Some of the other short Surahs that your children should learn are the following:

* Surah Al-Ikhlas

* Surah An-Nas

* Surah Al-Falaq

* Surah Al-Kafirun

After teaching them these 4 Quls, you can make them understand its translation and history. Then ask them to recite it for you and tell its benefits. They would surely enjoy learning it entertainingly. Some of the other Surahs are:

* Surah At-Tin

* Surah Al-Qadr

If you have more than one child in your house, try to teach at one particular time and make them learn it in the chorus. It is a method to guide them quickly. Also, a sense of competition would develop among the children as who would be learning it in a better and faster way.

However, we are aware of the fact that Hifz is not an ordinary task. Still, it involves complete dedication, effort, and focus of the child, along with tremendous support from parents and teachers. They should make their kids learn Arabic to understand the Quran or get enrolled in Arabic classes online for kids and adults so that they can learn it with their children.

If you intend to make your child a Hafiz e Quran, you should be well prepared to commit 8 to 9 years of your life to your child entirely because, along with their lessons at school, they would need lessons at home too. If both parents are working and cannot take out that much time for their kids, then it is better to give this decision a second thought. See if your child is capable of handling this responsibility or if he is willing to take this up and then only go for this choice.
